    Strategically located in Hong Kong, SuperCharger is a 12-week Accelerator Program for FinTech companies.

    SuperCharger 2.0 completed in April 2017

    SuperCharger FinTech Accelerator is the first program dedicated to both start-ups and scale-up global FinTech companies aiming to capture the Asian growth market. The program leverages on Hong Kong's traditional strength as Asia's finance and technology gateway.

    A Dedicated 12-week Program

    SuperCharger: A curriculum for success

    SuperCharger has designed a structured curriculum to create success. The accelerator assists with company building, mentorship and advice in areas such as market entry, regulatory obligations and joint ventures opportunities. The program itself coincides with the peak time of financial and start-up activity in Hong Kong. At the end of the program, participants will have a chance to pitch to investors and potential partners at the Investor Demo Day and the invite-only Demo Day.

    SuperCharger 1.0 Finished in April 2016

    The inaugural SuperCharger program successfully closed with an investor Demo Day on April 6th and an invite-only Demo Day on April 7th, hosting over 300 guests and investors.

      How will the participating companies be selected? What are the criteria?

      Once the applications close on 20 October 2017, the SuperCharger team and its partners will review each of the applications and select who we think has high potential for an interview. After the interview stage is completed, we will review and select the finalist 8 companies.

      Do I need to be based in Hong Kong to apply?

      No. In fact, we are looking to select companies from all over the world so that any incoming company can benefit from the cross pollination of ideas and best practices. However, if you get selected, we expect you (or part of the team) to be present in Hong Kong for the duration of the program.

      Can you help me with visa and immigration issues?

      Yes. We will help successful applicants with the visa process. While we do not provide housing, we will assist you by connecting you with special offers and resources to find the right accommodation.

      Do you sign an NDA?

      No, we do not sign an NDA. No VC companies will sign an NDA, but rest assured we will treat your information with the utmost discretion.

      What are you looking for?

      We are looking for brains! We are looking for smart people who have an idea and the hunger to create a viable business. We are looking for people well-honed in their industry to create a well-balanced team with a full range of skills.

      What happens after the 12-week program finishes?

      After the three-month program, if you decide to stay in Hong Kong - which is an awesome place to live - we have a floor in the same building as the program where you can rent working space at a discounted rate. Even if you are no longer in Hong Kong, SuperCharger will continue to provide advice and support through its advisors and mentors.
